Steel that keeps working after the weather has had its go
Salt, shock loads and years of cable wear are the normal operating conditions for a trawl block. Seaworthy blocks are built and tested for exactly that.
- A Tested load
Every block is individually tested and certified before dispatch.
- B Marine-grade construction
316 grade stainless or galvanised steel, built for salt water.
- C Serviceable components
Nylon roller on a pinned axle, replaceable in the workshop. Sheave assembly kits available for 500x300 and 350 series blocks. Placeholder: confirm wording.

Seaworthy Engineering repairs and services trawl blocks and stabiliser equipment in the Mandurah workshop, and carries fully reconditioned blocks when a rebuild suits you better than new.
- Trawl block repairs Sheaves, bearings, pins and cheek plates inspected and replaced as needed.
- Stabiliser servicing Springers and wings checked, repaired and re-protected.
- Reconditioned blocks Fully reconditioned units, subject to availability. Call for stock and pricing.
- Sheave assembly kits Do the rebuild yourself with a kit matched to your block size.

Made in Mandurah, Western Australia, since 1995
Seaworthy Engineering has been manufacturing and supplying marine-grade trawl rigging blocks to the trawl fishing, offshore marine and mining industries for nearly three decades. Every product is designed, built and tested in the Greenfields workshop.
The old site states rigging blocks "from 1 to 12 tonnes SWL", while the catalogue lists a 20 T WLL sheave lifting block. Capacity range statement withheld pending client confirmation.
